Here we have a fantastic offer, 4,000 kits at only £1 each, please email or call , please read below

In the kit you will find 2 perforated polythene bags each with a 200 litre capacity, 2 sachets of bio-degradable activator each 150gm, a pair of latex gloves and bag of "tiles"

Gather garden waste, such as hedge clippings, grass cuttings and remnants of garden pruning together with kitchen vegetative waste such as peelings. The waste will break-down into compost sooner if the pieces are small.

Take one of the bags from the kit, open, and prepare to distribute the waste inside the bag in layers:

1st Layer:
In the base of the bag place a layer of approximately 15-20cm of small, cut branches or hedge clippings to ensure a good foundation. The smaller they are cut the quicker micro-organisms will be able to breakdown the matter into compost.
2nd Layer:
15-20cm of grass cuttings and/or kitchen vegetative waste.
3rd Layer:
If the content of the bag is very damp it is advisable to add some similar dry matter. If the content is dry some water should be added. Take a sachet of biodegradble activator from the kit. The content of the sachet is enough to cover 1 cubic metre of matter. Sprinkle an even amount of activator in proportion to the contents of the bag and give the bag a gentle shake.
4th Layer
Repeat instructions for layers 2 and 3.

Continue adding garden and kitchen vegetative waste in this manner, using another sachet of activator when the content exceeds one cubic metre. Seal the bag with a tie when the process is complete. Open to add more matter and then re-seal. The content of the bag will need turning from time to time to allow airflow and accelerate the composting process. Ideally it should be turned weekly. This can be done by opening the bag and turning when adding more matter. This will allow oxygen to be absorbed by the internal mass in the bag.

The bag should be stored in a suitable place in the garden to "settle". The ideal location is under a tree so that in summer the compost is not excessivley dried out. In the winter, as the leaves of the trees fall, the warmth of the sun will accelerate the biological process.
